How It Works
GruntWorx products accurately recognize, label, and extract data from thousands of variations of tax forms with unprecedented accuracy—identifying more tax forms than any other solution available.
It all starts with the client. GruntWorx Gather eliminates the bottleneck of waiting for clients to deliver source data by enabling secure electronic transfer of client tax data from client to tax practitioner. Clients can choose from two methods of document transfer—automatic retrieval from the leading financial institutions and/or client upload of digital documents. If not using Gather, firms can start by scanning a disorganized collection of source documents received from the client.
GruntWorx Organize identifies, organizes, and labels the scanned tax forms into a PDF file, with the document issuer's name on each bookmark—eliminating the time-consuming manual task of identifying and sorting client documents before scanning.
In addition, GruntWorx Populate extracts data from the bookmarked documents and imports the data into the leading tax preparation software packages.
Working in conjunction with GruntWorx Organize or GruntWorx Populate, GruntWorx Trades converts trade details on scanned 1099 Consolidated Brokerage Statements into a standard Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet file for easy manipulation and import of trade details.
