Principal Web Engineer/Architect
Responsibilities include:
- Enhance existing web application that is based on JSF,XHTML and JCR deployed on JBOSS with web-server clustering
- Expand existing web services communication with various tax software preparation packages
- Optimize web pages to support faster access and high volumes
Candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Excellent programming skills in JAVA, JSF, PHP, GWT, CSS, JavaScript and UML modeling
- Experience with JBOSS, TOMCAT, APACHE servers and POSTGRES database
- Experience with large scale testing of web applications
- Experience in Joomla, Drupal or Jboss Portal is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines
- Willingness to learn new and existing code
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 5-7 years of solid programming experience in web applications /content management systems
This is a contract to permanent position starting immediately.
